Oxidised coloured silver leaf

The Oxidised coloured silver leaf is created by chemically treating the silver leaf to oxidise it over a period of time. This process is used to colour the leaves in unique and vibrant colours. The oxidised coloured silver leaves will continue to oxides, if the leaves are not sealed correctly The oxidised coloured silver is different than the other two types of coloured silver leaf in that they are not dyed using resin. Instead of this process the silver leaf is chemically managed to create oxidation on the on the surface of the leaf. As this is a natural process it will continue to happen over a period of time In order to stop this process the coloured silver leaf will need to be varnished correct although doing this could dull the colour on the leaf itself Each of the leaves measures 129mm x 129mm and is supplied in various quantities of up to 50 loose leaves with each of the leaves being separated by a tissue paper. The coloured silver is more fragile than standard silver leaf and will need to be handled with care in order to prevent any damage.
